Chenjeh Kebab – Grilled Lamb Kebab

Chenjeh Kebab, Grilled lamb kebab served with steamed saffron rice or maybe lavash bread – a traditional bread. Grilling chicken/lamb/beef kebab on weekend is part of Persian food culture and also you won’t believe how easy, tender and flavorful these kebabs are. It’s one of those must-have dishes.

This weekend  I was craving chenjeh kabab a lot but not in the mood to go out also too lazy to prepare the grill so I used my IKEA grilling pan. OMG! These kebabs turn out so perfect and delicious.

For Lamb kebabs, tender meat is the main key. Also, strip fillet or sirloin steaks are a good choice. Next important thing is marinade with saffron, onion and black pepper for at least an hour.
