Spinach Puff

Plus instead of cream cheese and parmesan, you can add feta cheese but I prefer cream cheese.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1 cup fresh spinach finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a pan, sauté the diced onions and minced garlic until softened. Add the chopped spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed spinach mixture, grated Parmesan, cream cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into squares, depending on your desired puff size.
  • Spoon a generous portion of the spinach and cheese mixture onto the center of each puff pastry square.
  • Fold the pastry over the filling to create a triangle or rectangle shape, sealing the edges.
  • Place the spinach puffs on the prepared baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the pastry is golden and puffed.
