Cheese makes these tots tastier, but for a dairy-free version add more breadcrumbs instead of parmesan cheese.
For dipping, ketchup, chili sauce or BBQ sauce is good.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium head broccoli cut into florets
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Parsley
  • 2 egg
  • Salt per to taste
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 180°C/350°F.
  • In a large pot, bring water to a boil; add salt, and the broccoli florets, and cook for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Drain them well and finely chop cooked broccoli florets.
  • In a large bowl, add chopped broccoli, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and eggs and mix well to combine.
  • Place the mixture in the refrigerator to chill for about 10 minutes.
  • Spoon out about 1 tablespoon of the mixture with your hands to make a tot form(see the shape in the video below
  • Place them on the greased baking sheet and repeat the process.
  • Bake for about 18-20 minutes.
  • Serve with ketchup, chili sauce, BBQ sauce or your favorite dipping sauce!

Allow the broccoli tots to cool for a few minutes before serving. Pair them with a light dipping sauce or enjoy them on their own for a wholesome snack that satisfies both your taste buds and your nutritional needs.
